I had a nylon pin with a ball head snap on me during a gig a long time ago.
I sent the horn to Weiner Music in NY (White Plains). The original cause
was a misalignment of the horn that hadn't been readjusted after I got the
horn. I had the horn realigned and the pin replaced. They not only fixed the
pin, but sent me a few replacement pins -- just in case. I've never had to
use those because once aligned, the horn works just fine and the pin does not
break. I'd suggest that you call their repair service (web site has contact
information) if you cannot find someone in your area to do the job. Expect,
however, that you should have the horn adjusted and aligned at the time you
have the pin replaced, otherwise you're going to break the replacement pin.
Weiner is a woodwind specialist and I expect they've seen more than one of the
pins snap. Good luck!
