Dear Mark,
Very sad news: Wayne Rapier, head of Boston Records, died yesterday
at 11:30 AM of liver cancer. He was responsible for many great clarinet
CDs by Harold Wright, and I could not have produced my Daniel Bonade or
Ralph McLane CDs without him. He was a wonderful oboist, musician,
colleague, and friend. I'm sure your clarinetist friends need to know
this sad news.
