In my opinion, the instrument you describe is a low pitch B-flat
clarinet. In the 1920s, when one was called for a gig, the first
question that was asked by the player was about pitch. He or she
had to know which instrument to bring, and a request that player
bring an LP clarinet was commonplace.

In concept, though not in fact, you have a clarinet in B-natural.
It so happens that such an instrument was used by Mozart in two
operas, though briefly. But as an instrument to play in today's
ensembles, what you have is effectively useless.

Well, when I finger a C it plays a B. Mind you, I'm putting my
mouthpiece and barrel on it. It turns out it did come with a
mouthpiece
and two barrels, but I don't know if either of the barrels is
original.
I suspect not. The mouthpiece is a Selmer Goldentone; it's
affixed to
the shorter of the two barrels by electrical tape, because the
(plastic) barrel is cracked and the lower ring is loose. Both
barrels
are shorter than my barrel.

Best regards,
Don Morris
