Monday night's concert with Daniel Barenboim as piano soloist went VERY
WELL. Our orchestra (Skokie Valley Symphony Orchestra) was on their tippy-toes,
but not overly anxious.

I tell you though, playing with an artist of that caliber and having him
scan the orchestra during rests, really put me into a state of "heightened
awareness".

Luckily, we all came though. It was truly one of those performances that one
never forgets. Thanks to all those who sent notes of encouragement.
