It's a frustrating fact that there is no such thing as a complete Fake Boo=
k. I have a
pretty large collection of both legal and illegal Fake Books, and I still =
come up
empty now and then when looking for a particular tune. My solution -- and=
I imagine
this is availabel too in Oz -- is the public library, where there's an eve=
n larger
collection of Fake Books (legal, of course) and other music compilations a=
s well as,
of one is lucky, an occasional sheet music collection. Some public librar=
ies even
index the contents of Fake Books in their online catalogs.
