I have played Signatures since 1999, and like them very much=2E When tryi=
ng
several to get a set I liked the sound of, I noticed that the fundamental
and 3rd partial on all models were perfectly in tune with eachother (i=2Ee=
=2E
if sharp in one register, sharp in the other, thus easily fixable without
compromise)=2E This is because the (rather long) tone holes are not
undercut=2E This means more lip adjusting in the altissimo, but much less=

adjusting overall=2E I agree with a previous poster that your intonation
problems with them may be caused by setup or your being used to adjusting =
a
certain way=2E =20

The quality that drew me to the Signatures, however, was their sound which=

is rich and deep, and the same in all dynamics with little effort=2E I wa=
s
initially worried that I would be unable to use a full palate of colors,
but after only a week, I could put the sound wherever I wanted=2E

You can hear me playing my Signatures on a number of CDs, but most easily
on my solo cd, American Spirit - available everywhere=2E

Cheers,

Sean Osborn
