disappear on a permanent basis, and the doctor told her that the
"normal" recovery time for the "bug" that was currently "going around"
was 3-4 weeks.

So perhaps you're not being re-infected, Audrey. Perhaps it's just a
stubborn "bug" that is lasting the full 4 weeks?
