First blame second blame whatever the blame...

I hate to sound rude, but I'm infuriated with some of you who continually
seem to think these people were just too ignorant to get out. I was just
invited to perform as a guest artist for katrina victims at the Charlotte
Coliseum while I was home this past weekend, and after hearing some of those
people's stories... I think you all (including myself AND the media) need to
just shut up about blame. Yes... you read it right... SHUT UP.

The only people who can fathom any of the magnitude of the situation are the
victims themselves... and if anybody has a right to be blaming anybody or
anything, it's them. Not you and your corny @$$ sitting in the comfort of
your home - that's still standing by the way - with your neat l'il computers
and internet access acting like you know what happened. All of us have to
right to ask questions, but none of us have any business pointing fingers,
especially when it's based on whatever 16 x 16 image we get from the
freakin' tv news.

None of you have any idea what those people are going through, or what they
went through, or why they individually could or could not evacuate the city.
And I'm willing to bet none of use know completely what the gov't was doing
between the time the storm hit and the time aid was able to be provided. So
if you didn't live through it, don't be trying to tell the story for
everybody else like you did.

Bryan
