For all you list members in Southern California:

I will be giving a clarinet master class in solo repertoire with piano on
two dates this fall.
The first of these is:

Saturday, October 8th, from 10--1 am
Throop Unitarian Church, 300 S. Los Robles
(corner of Los Robles and Del Mar) Pasadena, California

Cost: $35 participant (approximately a half hour of coaching); $10 auditor

We will have an excellent pianist, Twyla Meyer, who knows the clarinet
repertoire intimately and can sight-read anything. Twyla, who has an MM in
accompanying from USC, is staff accompanist/coach at CSU, Los Angeles, and
has been a frequent collaborator with me in recital.

There is room for two more participants, and an unlimited number of
auditors, so if you live in Southern California and you wish to participate
or listen, please email me asap.

This is a fine opportunity for advanced/intermediate players to do some
careful, detailed work on a selection from the standard solo repertoire,
accompanied by an outstanding collaborative pianist, with a small audience
of peers. If you are interested in participating please contact me by email,
giving details of your repertoire, age and experience. Early registration is
advised.
