University of Arkansas:

Dear Colleagues:

I would like to let all of clarinetists and bassoonists know of a new=20
commissioning project with composer and bassoonist Bill Douglas. I am=20
spearheading the project to have Bill write a 16-minute work for
clarinet,=20
bassoon, and piano.

With 34 people signed on as commissioners (coming from both the bassoon
and=20
clarinet pools), the cost per person would be $150; the price would go
down if=20
we have more participants. All participants would have a multi-year=20
exclusivity agreement on performances before the piece is made available
for=20
the general public.
