Hi List,

Recently I've been struck by the number of contemporary clarinetists and
teachers whose work has furthered the art. Now, I've only returned to the
study in November after a 30+ year break, and so my list is of course
incomplete. But those I know of, and to whom I'm indebted, would include:
Galper,
Gingras,
Haddock,
Stark,
Heim,
Cunningham,
Opperman,
Hite,
Stein,
Lester,
Pino

If there are others who are contemporary and have contributed to the
furtherance of the art, I'd like to hear of them. Thanks in advance. :-)

Vann Joe - there are literally hundreds of names. Just look at any CD site
and start from there. Also look at woodwind.org 's clarinet teachers list
for the Univ. teachers who have contributed to the art.
