Hello,

I am looking for two words in English that "behave" like the words IMA and MAYIM in Hebrew.
If you say IMA many times it sounds like MAYIM and the same with the other word.
(The meaning of the words is : IMA=mother, and MAYIM= water )

I will try to explaine with my bad English why I use these words:

When I work with my students on phrasing (Kroepsch!)
I use the word IMA for a phrase that starts on the first note and MAYIM for a phrase that starts on the second note.
Of course, some phrases start on the first note but you want to phrase them from the second - and then its nice to use the IMA-MAYIM game.

Any one can help?
