Tony,

Let me see if I understand your logic:

Appealing to dead pedagogues because of their decades of experience: bad.

Appealing to live pedagogues because of their decades of experience: good.

Just want to make sure I am clear on the rules.

It is interesting to note how people who appeal to either dead or live
pedagogues often do so as a preemptive defensive move to prop up an
argument which might not otherwise stand on its own. But I would think you
would be the first person to point this out, at least in relationship to
dead pedagogues. Quite fascinating in the context of something both parties
agree is an argument which stands on its own merit, so I guess you're just
being vitriolic for gratuitous reasons. Your statement of "true things",
however, is inconsistent with your own seemingly unnecessary appeal to a
live pedagogue with decades of experience (namely yourself). Unless it
really is necessary, perhaps there is something about what you and Vann Joe
disagreed about that you don't feel stands on its own merit and needs to be
propped up by your 50 years of experience? I would look myself, but we've
already established what a know-nothing I am.

Ignorantly and desperately hoping to be elevated (lowered?) to idiot status,

-Adam
