OK, I'm a bit angry. I'm not a published author (except for one minor
magazine article for which I was paid about 20 times more than I thought
it was worth). Therefore perhaps I have no right to take the soap box,
but.....

Another way of looking at this is that the concept of _PERMISSION_
is still missing.

I'm not a 'paranoid' who sees threats in every shadow, but if vendors
can use the largest portion of your work for their own profit without
your permission and without compensating you, where does it end?

Think about the parallels to downloading music and films, which has gone
much farther than just a 'few pages' (and which openly accepts theft
with a shrug of the shoulders nowadays). After all, it's a matter of
'freedom of information', isn't it?", says the thief.
