I seerecall that the magazine The Instrumentalist published the findings of
some research on the personality traits of players of various instruments.
This must've been over 30 years ago, if my memory serves me.

I'll look around and see if I can find it, but I don't have much hope. Maybe
someone with a better library nearby might turn it up.
