Back in the day I used to think I was the alto clarinet godess. This is
bringing back fond memories of when most music professionals thought I was
an idiot. I used to always have the same problem. Now I played a vito alto
clarinet at one point and the neck went strait into the wood of the body
with a cork and had no ajustment screw and when I would pull it out it would
cause the entire neck to wiggle. Then I was doing a school project and asked
the list for help and somebody said putting a shoe string in the clarinet.
As ghetto as this sounds, It would lengthen the bore.

This may be the dumbest thing I've said, but I have been wanting to
participate in discussions for a while, but never could think of anything to
say.
