Decide what you like, but you seemed to think you were speaking
"scientifically", so I thought a few points on that score were worth
making. :-)

For what it's worth, pitch fluctuation is probably a better term than
pitch vibration for vibrato, since most vibrato is more complex than
straightforward vibration. But it's not to say that the pitch *can't*
vibrate/oscillate (just to introduce another term;-).

Incidentally, in France one finds books described as being "Traduit de
l'anglais" and "Traduit de l'americain". Two cultures divided by a
common language indeed. :-)
