Rien,

I'm not sure what you meant by "it is hard to find the end handle for
the bow," but getting the slur to go to the note you want is fairly
easy. When you double-click on the first note it automatically connects
to the *next* note. Rather than do this and then try to grab the handle
to drag it to where you want the end to be (which works but is probably
what you're having trouble with), instead when you double-click, hold
the button down on the second click (don't release it). You then can
drag the end of the slur to wherever you want it. Each note after the
first one will become highlighted in turn as you pass it.Make sure the
note you're aiming at actually is highlighted before you release the
mouse button. If it isn't, the slur will go back to whatever note *is*
highlighted. If you've done it effectively, the slur will attach to the
note you released it on and will adjust its height and direction for the
context. You can, of course, adjust the shape, direction and even the
weight of the slur either globally or for a specific slur, but that's
the next lesson.
