Same here. I love my Fontaine clarinet. It's a Boehm and very easy
to play with a wonderful lower register. Mine was a "gift" from my
brother who saw it in a music store more than 30 years ago and picked
it up thinking I might get some use out of it. I have other
clarinets, but the Fontaine brings back fond memories for me so I
keep it in good "running order" and play it often. They were more
popular in the WWII era, and not the finest of makes, but nice
nonetheless. Please don't get rid of it; if it plays at all, I'm
sure there are people here who would value it.
