You are not in anyone's address book. We send mail to one email address
only---klarinet@-----.org---and mail sent to that list is distributed
to all subscribers.

I think you must have incorrectly completed the unsubscription process.

That won't work, since emails to the list do not come from @-----.org
email addresses---they are just routed via those servers.

Did you block those addresses before trying to unsubscribe? If so that
may be why you couldn't suceed. If I recall correctly, when you send
email to the unsubscribe address listed at the bottom of each list mail,
you should receive an email from an @-----. This asks
you to click on a link and it's clicking on that link that completes the
process of unsubscription.

So, the first thing I would do if I were you is to *unblock* all the
@-----. Then send an email to
klarinet-unsubscribe@-----. Wait to receive an email back asking
you to confirm that you want to unsubscribe. If you don't receive that
mail, this is why your unsubscribe procedures have not worked. If so,
check why you are not receivinig the mail---check it's not getting
marked as junk or otherwise diverted.

Mark Charette ought to be able to give further clarification on this if
necessary but I think the above is really all you need to do.
