Subj: [kl] New to the list...question on duet literature
Date: Mon, 25 Jul 2005 09:14:27 -0400

Hello all! I've just joined the list, so I thought I'd introduce
myself. My name is Michelle and I'm a clarinet player of about 22
years...I consider myself mainly an Eb player, though I also played
quite a bit of Bb. Right now, I'm not playing too much at all as I've
switched over to playing Irish traditional music and mostly play penny
whistle now. At any rate, I come with a question. I did try
searching the archives to find any answers, but had a hard time
finding any pertinent information.

So my question? I'm looking for are any sort of pieces that were
originally written for two clarinets (both Bbs, though if there's
anything with Eb out there I'd love to know too) and an accompaniment
(orchestra, piano, etc.). I'm not looking for unaccompanied duets (
i.e. the Poulenc), just those pieces that were written with
accompaniment. If anyone knows of any such pieces, I would greatly
appreciate being let know about them!

Thank you in advance.
