The K11, K13, and the K14 are all similar and made from the same blank, with
much of the same tonal characteristics. The K11 is the closest, the K14 the
most open, the K13 in between. Many of my jazz customers go right to the K14
and bypass my "jazz" mouthpieces. I would say the K14 would be BEST for
glisses, etc, but I do just fine on the K13.
