Well, I was in London the other day (same day the bombs *didn't* go off,
thank God) and went into Howarth's to try a few things out....

... anyway, I thought I'd try some of Walter's mouthpieces since they
have them there. It turned out they only had one in stock since they
seem to have been selling rather well.

So, I put it on my instrument and... Gosh! That's rather nice!

Suffice to say I'm now the proud owner of one of Walter's K11
mouthpieces. :-D

One question, Walter---glissando is a little less easy on this
mouthpiece than on my previous one, which has a longer and more open
facing. Any suggestions as to what kind of facing might improve the
gliss? It's not such a big deal but if I could get something more
gliss-friendly without sacrificing the lovely sound I get from the K11,
it'd be nice.

Still, the Rhapsody in Blue opening sounds nice enough on this
mouthpiece that it's not a big deal. ;-)
