I have recently bought a Legere tenor sax reed, tempted by the "Blow dry"
facility offered.
( frequently double with clt & alto sax).The Legere performs far better
than my expectations.
I read somewhere that Lester Young said he had played on synthetic reeds for
years.
Iwonder if anyone out there has any knowledge of this.. Harold Troughton
