Hi All,

Before I discovered the resources this list provides, I did a Google search
for clarinet overhaul, and found an impressive site, promising wonderful
results, Thomas Ohme. (He has links on many dozens of woodwind sites--I
suspect they need to be informed of the horrible service he provides.)

After finding this list I searched the archives, and found horror stories
about Thomas Ohme's woodwind ship in Milwaukee, WI.

I can add to them:
He's had my original 1961 Bb R13 for overhaul and plating since November
2004. He doesn't answer email, and the phone number listed has been
disconnected. I've been in touch with the WI Consumer Advocate, and the BBB.

If anyone is also having problems getting instruments back, I will be
initiating a lawsuit in 30 days. In the meantime I have obtained a working
phone number, though I only get a phone message. If anyone needs this
number, email me privately and pass it on.
