Same for me, with a small exception. I have oiled the tenons of my
clarinets occasionally when they seemed to be getting dry. A search of
the KLARINET archive will turn up a post about tech Larry Naylor, who
wrote an interesting article about oiling on older instruments whose
wood may have dried out enough to cause a change in bore dimension.

Naylor uses a natural oil blend of Almond oil and others (I've
forgotten the details). My repair tech uses sweet almond oil on
clarinets when he feels the need to oil an instrument.

I also find this to help with the drying of the wood at the tenons.
