Dear me. Everyone defending or rationalizing decisions that don't mean a
whit in the long run ...

1) Learn to use your tools.
2) Switch tools when you think you've found a "better" one and the
energy required to switch is worthwhile.
3) If it truly is "better", keep using it, otherwise discard and
remember how much energy was expended switching.
4) Repeat 1.
