Seriously folks... without spending a penny :

Make a dual boot PC out of your current nightmare PC.
Boot up Linux when you use the internet and
reboot into windows when you need Finale or Sibelius
and make sure you UNPLUG the ethernet cable or shut off your internet
connection
when you do use windows.
