Subj: [kl] Klarinet messages treated as spam

Several weeks ago, all of my mail (including Klarinet) started going into
EarthLink's "Junk" folder, which is different from the "Known Spam,"
"Suspected Spam" and "Trash" folders. After some frustrating runaround
with outsourced EarthLink staffers unfamiliar with the English language, I
found the problem myself, in the "Filters" file. Either I accidently
checked a box or a recent EarthLink upgrade automatically checked it, to
send all mail from addresses not in my address folder to the Junk pile.
(The result: everything went to "Junk" because, to protect my privacy and
that of my correspondents, I don't keep an address book with my ISP. I
prefer to keep an old-fashioned address book offline.) Unchecking that box
solved the problem.
