CNN was reporting on the U.S. hot dog eating contest, and the reporter
mentioned that the key to winning is swallowing quickly without clamping
down at the throat. Now I wonder whether clarinetists would have an
advantage in this contest because they've learned to open their throats?

Or vice versa. Would training for the U.S. hot dog eating contest make
a better clarinetist?
