Just to avoid any widespread misunderstanding, which resulted in a
couple of off-list emails:

Gary's post about fingerings was in reply to a question about alto
clarinet vs Bb clarinet, not about clarinet vs. sax. The original
subject line was: "alto helppppp".

I'm not sure how "sax" became part of the thread. But all's well that
ends well.
