Both registers of the sax finger very similarly to the clarion register of
the clarinet, with the major exception being the upper C in the octave. It
is generally easier to switch from clarinet to sax than to learn clarinet
knowing sax, since with sax you don't have the throat keys to deal with and
have an an octave register change with identical fingerings for each
octave, minus the register key.
