I have an older university student who is a saxophonist and clarinet
doubler. He frequents yard sales for entertainment, and has found some
nice instruments. He reported one week that he had seen a one piece
clarinet, apparently wood, and asked me whether it was a "good"
clarinet. It wasn't a name he recognized - "Rossi"? They wanted $100,
so he left it behind!!!
