This is a gross misrepresentation of plastic clarinets. As a repairer who
services these things every day, and test plays them all, I know full well
that the products from Yamaha, Buffet, and Vito are all fine clarinets which
DO play as well in tune as any half-way well made wood clarinet - in fact
better than some. I've even seen examples of those "Chinese lamp bases"
which do a good job (of course, there are plenty that don't, too!) but the
longevity of these is more of a question than anything until they prove
themselves in the hands of beginners - as is at times the ergonomics of
their designs.

So please, don't make such uninformed statements, and also please learn to
either spell or proofread.

Geoff.
