Hi David - I really like the

http://www.wwbw.com/Yamaha-YTS62-Mark-II-Professional-Tenor-Sax-i93682.music

I play their Silver Alto. Very high quality instrument for $2350.

A Sax student of mine just started collecting mint condition
Selmer Mark VI Saxes. He's up to 3 right now. Pretty expensive
hobby if you ask me......

Since we just recently had a discussion about tenor saxes, and
since
Dan has on occasion shown us the logical argument for playing K.
622 on
the tenor sax when the appropriate occasion arises ;-) I'd like
to
ask for some assistance.

My wife has a student who has played tenor sax in the school band
for a
number of years using a school instrument. His own personal
instrument
is an alto sax. He has requested a tenor sax as a graduation gift.
Can
some of the knowledgeable folks on the list send me (off list is
probably more appropriate) a list of choices to look at on a trip
to a
relatively local store - brands and price ranges that would be
appropriate for such a student.

TIA

David
