This is probably as good a time as any to announce the new Heisig Saxophones.
The alto saxes in numerous comparisons and blind tests compare very favorably to the great vintage horns. These have been in production for about 5 weeks.
The tenors have been available for one week.
We think you will find quality and prices very satisfying.

Subject: [kl] help in purchasing a tenor sax
Since we just recently had a discussion about tenor saxes, and since
Dan has on occasion shown us the logical argument for playing K. 622 on
the tenor sax when the appropriate occasion arises ;-) I'd like to
ask for some assistance.
My wife has a student who has played tenor sax in the school band for a
number of years using a school instrument. His own personal instrument
is an alto sax. He has requested a tenor sax as a graduation gift. Can
some of the knowledgeable folks on the list send me (off list is
probably more appropriate) a list of choices to look at on a trip to a
relatively local store - brands and price ranges that would be
appropriate for such a student.
TIA
David
