Subj: [kl] Clarinet Competitions and Unaccompanied Solo Clarinet Pieces

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had a comprehensive list of clarinet
competitions as well as a list of great unaccompanied solo clarinet
pieces? I'm looking to expand my repetoire list this summer and am not
terribly knowledgeable of the more recent contemporary solo clarinet
works out there that are GOOD and tend to show up at competitions
(hopefully these two restrictions aren't mutually exclusive). Part of
the issue is that there are so many pieces for solo clarinet out there,
that without being able to either get a hold of a recording or the music
itself there is no way of telling good music from crap. To avoid telling
me something I already know, I have below a list of works already on my
list that I have either played or have heard and know to be good.

Bassett - Soliloquies
Berio - Sequenza 9
Smith - Five pieces
Martino - Set pieces (don't particularly like the piece, but if you can
play it well you automatically qualify as a baddass clarinetist in my
book :-)
Stravinsky - Three Pieces
Rosza

Thanks,

Peter
