OK, not a "me, too" but a "he, too".

A clarinet playing friend had a crack appear at the top of the upper joint
a few weeks ago. This on a mature Buffet (not sure of its exact age, but
several years old, at least). Some three weeks after this crack was
pinned, a new crack appeared opposite the new one (i.e. 180 degrees away on
the opposite side of the same joint). The clarinet is currently undergoing
further repairs, so I guess you would call this a breaking story...
