My Bb clarinet is cracked, for the second time in its six-month life. =
The
first crack, from the tenon to the G# post, appeared after six weeks of
playing. That crack was pinned after being allowed to close completely.
The current crack parallels the first crack and runs from the tenon to =
the A
key's tone hole.

Can anyone who has experience with multiple cracks provide information =
on
this phenomenon? Is my clarinet trying to tell me something? Does this
portend a troublesome future? Will I have to buy a roll of baling wire =
and
a case of duct tape to keep the creature in one piece?
