Nah, it was just a joke. Dan said he (with all respect) couldn't stand
people calling an Eb clarinet an 'eefer', so I thought it was a good
opportunity to say I couldn't stand people calling their clarinet 'their
horn'. (The 'with respect' I took to be implicit;-)

The thread is entitled 'Personal prejudice', so it's not surprising that
reason doesn't come into it.

What is this 'pinkie' thing, anyway? Diddumses?
