They bounce for a reason - the rejection notice is pretty explicit (too
explicit - it uses technical terms - in a few cases).

The most common rejection complains of of a MIME data type. That means
you didn't send plain text to the list, but rich text (or HTNL text). The
list is set up to accept _only_ plain text and nothing but plain text -
anything else is rejected out of hand to prevent viruses from being sent
out. Even them some types of plain text, such as something called
uuencoded text, are rejected because there are some so-called plain text
formats than can be re-created as a virus on your computer.

Most mail agents have a way to create plain text; if you are getting MIME
related bounces you'll have to look up the correct formatting commands for
your mail agent.
