things depend greatly on the person, and on the climate. I do think
some folks lack patience with reeds. I have found that, as I've grown
older, I am much more patient with my reeds than I was when I was a
young university student. Back then, if I ran out of reeds, I'd just
fork over a few dollars, buy a new box, and think nothing of that!
Nowadays, hey, three new boxes is money out of the food, or phone bill,
or car insurance budget! 8-O

I really was a spoiled brat when I was young. I've found these days
that I can make a box of reeds go a pretty long way - necessity being
the mother of...etc.
