To answer your question, there is no argument that establishes as
fact that Mozart was a good or bad composer. I never said that
he was. And if someone offered that argument, I'd dump on them
just as I dumped on the party who suggested that Wagner was the
cat's meow because he thought so.

There is plenty to demonstrate technical ability.

But that's not what makes Mozart supreme over all artists.

I guess it is what we'd think of an article of faith.

Dan, you must know by now that I enjoy Mozart's music.
Therefore what
follows is not a criticism against Mozart.

Although it is difficult to claim that Mozart was not a brilliant
composer, is there any 'factual' argument that can be used to
praise
him?
