If one has to be told the details of the explicit sexuality in
any particular composition, it can't possibly be referred to as
being explicitly sexual. The Bolero is another work that is often
said to be explicitly sexual.

Wasn't Wagner, among other things, something of a proto-feminist?
I
recall hearing the Nazis had to turn upside-down his attitudes to
women
to make his work fit with their macho agenda.

I have to confess I know little about him and little of his
music,
although what I have heard struck me as remarkable---above all
his
amazing sense of orchestral colour.

I remember a (very left-wing) German friend raving to me about
the sheer
explicit sexuality of the music of Tristan and
Isolde---apparently
including a very vivid musical description of Coitus Interruptus
:-D
