You need to use "percussion maps", which I tried to explain in my
previous post. If the stave you are entering the notes on was set up
(using the instrument wizard) to be a snare drum then entering notes
straight onto the single line in the middle of the stave should work.
If you set it up as something different (e.g. a generic "percussion"
staff) things start to be a bit more complex.

How did you get on with the instructions I gave you in my previous email
on how to use percussion maps? Did it work?
