This is quite common, perhaps more common on the top joint-to-barrel
tenon. I suppose you could say that the joint was machined too perfectly,
so that a very slight change due to wood expansion has made it too
tight. Have your tech look at it. He will probably sand ever so little
off of the end of the tenon. You certainly do not want it to get stuck, as
it could be badly damaged when you try to get it apart. Too loose, of
course, is also very bad, so have it done by someone you can sue later! :-)
