I was doing a lot of teaching today. As I teach, I like to demonstrate
points by playing. I kept getting frustrated, however, as my reeds kept drying out.

I reached into a drawer where I keep a bunch of older Legere reeds, and
stuck one on the mouthpiece at random. With this reed, coupled with my CXZ_K13
mouthpiece and a Rovner ligature, I sounded better (to myself) than had all day.

I decided I will always have one or two handy when I was teaching.

I have a concert tomorrow. I'll try this combo in the hall and report back.
