Karl, I just bought a DVD recorder (stand alone) and connected it to my VCR
to transfer some old tapes to DVD.
It only cost $175 (Panasonic DMR-ES10) and works really well. I'd be happy
if you need to transfer it for you and even make a couple of copies of the
DVD if you need. Just let me know.
