I'm trying to transfer a VHS recording of a school production of several
years ago to DVDs to distribute among this summer's staff. I managed to
capture the entire tape into an MPG on my hard drive. As an MPG it won't fit
on a DVD (it's a little over 9 GB). Neither the Roxio software I own nor the
native WinXP DVD burning software (which is cut-down Roxio) seems able to do
anything with the file to change it to a standard DVD format (reducing its
size in the process) and the MPG is just too big to do anything with. Can
anyone tell me how (I'm sure it can be done) to duplicate this tape as a
video DVD. Can I do it from the MPG I already have captured or do I need to
recapture it by some other method?
Thanks for any help.
