What about 1 peice plastic clarinets? For instance,
the Lyons C Clarinet sounds facinating, I have never
even seen one, what do others think?

This might solve some of the tenon problems, and if you
get a pullthrough swab and use that after playing, and
use a legere reed... not that I know anything about them
either, but it's an idea.
